I've come to realize that the student money given to the lowly individuals on this planet is in no way enough. Their government must be trying to get them in debt as soon as possible. Such vile tactics remind me of the Slaver Conglomerate, thankfully we were able to defeat that disgusting nation of debauchery in AD0001556000.
I was informed that I'd be able to increase my income by taking on customer works. The material fee would be paid by the customer, upon which I shall add my own fee. Onwards and upwards!
These frames are an absolute disgrace to the profession in which I'm studying undercover!
They were actually nailed onto the frames, what barbarian is responsible for this heresy?
Gentle righteous fury was used to free these paintings from their prison of sharp suffocation.
Away they go, may these mockeries of frames be forever damned.
I will post the finished frames at a later date.

Here you can see the step in framing, well, some of them. The method is similar in this as it was in the earlier series of three prints. Except this one wasn't pinned to a wooden frame underneath. So the first step was making it acceptable to be framed.
I wrapped it around a thick board of foam core, made sure it was on the board straight and begun the meticulous work of needling it in place with string. Even though the board stays untouched by foul string and prickly needles, it actually holds in place quite nicely.
The less resolute member of my group questioned my sanity, not knowing that I took intensive mental training before setting a foot on this planet.
Once again, no pictures of the cutting or putting together of the frames or glass. If the cut glass fits the frame, it's time to clean it up.
After the glass has been cleaned time and again, small plastic strips are placed to keep the work separate from the glass. To uphold the safety and integrity of the work within. After that it's time to put the back board in place and staple it in. Never mind the mistake below (the protective cardboard wasn't long enough, don't worry, a new one was cut).
After that, brown strips of glue tape were installed to make sure no dust would ever get in. The hanging wire is attached and voila! It is done.

These are among the first framing works I finished. The originals were made by myself. The vigor with which I threw myself upon this task made me forget to take pictures of the actual process. Damn this atmosphere! It must be working its foul tricks on my brain processes.

Finally I've been allowed to integrate the local "internet", gifted to me by the Overlords that guard this crude invention. How it's use makes me yearn for The Galactic Empires Communication and Recreational Holonet ™.
I caught myself a few day cycles ago in an act that I found rather worrying. The subtle indoctrination must be in full effect for I was "decorating" the living quarters I was able to procure for myself and a local individual. I chose to cohabit to better hide under the radar. My mission is of paramount importance.
Now that I've been able to join the world wide intellect of this planet, I can begin this task of a "blog". I will not shirk from this task. Although the condition of my rations is troubling me, almost two thirds of it have succumbed to the decay that is natural to this planet. I'm forced to consume local "food" for nourishment. The spices help.
Locals seem impressed by my ability to imprint images on surfaces. They value individual expressions, art, as they call it. Yet their governments appear unwilling to fund such endeavors. What an odd little species this is.
I've also found their beverages to be quite intoxicating. These alcoholic concoctions, of which whiskey is by far the superior, are to my liking. Even though they have side effects. I can only hope that they'll be able to work out this flaw.
