Hi!
I'm Miika, born in -90 and somehow ended up studying to be an art framer or some such. For the last 5 years I've studied art to warying degrees of success. However, I came to the conclusion that I might have more luck in getting paid by people who want their own or bought works framed, rather then try getting money for my own works. I blame my crippling selfdoubt.
I'm also unable to take this blog task too seriously and therefore have decided to do a bit of roleplay. Since I'm back in a school in which I once studied (atleast 8 years ago) to be a carpenter (unsuccesfully), I chose the role of a extraterrestial explorer that has come to Earth undercover. This potrays my own confusion as to being in this place again that hasn't changed one bit. Also, teenagers. Could've chosen a time traveller backstory but, nah. This role just makes this more enjoyable for me. We'll see if they let me go through with this, if not then I'm forced to edit EVERY SINGLE POST TO PLEASE THEM gawdangit. This blog will go on for atleast 2 years so, I hope I won't have to change a diddlydarn thing.
Right, the one form of art I really enjoy are woodprints, you'll see a few of them here. I'm also particularly bad at photographing every step that's involved in the framing process so, just bare with me. We'll get through this together.
I'm supposed to add a picture of myself on this, I'll include it when I find my horsemask.
